MANTECH seeks a motivated and customer-oriented Senior Network Engineer to join our team in Boulder, CO. This role is part of the Infrastructure Support (IS) team and is critical for maintaining the stability, integrity, and security of a high-impact large scale enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a strong background in network operations, security, and cloud services.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Plan, architect, engineer, and propose improvements to an enterprise government network and systems architecture. You'll operate and maintain infrastructure at multiple geographically distributed sites on a 24/7 on-call basis, ensuring system availability and reliable performance. This includes managing network devices like routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Perform automated network and host vulnerability scanning, analyze the results, and take directed action to mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Identify opportunities and transition services to cloud service providers to improve efficiency and reduce the maintenance burden.
- Report all incidents to the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) and System Owner (SO) and assist in investigations as directed
- Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets and related security documentation. You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining network documentation, including configurations, network mapping, and operational procedures
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Systems Engineering, or a related field and 6 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, including LANs, WANs, and VPNs.
- Experience with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and software. Preferred experience with Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls and products as well as SIEM systems.
- Familiarity with vulnerability scanning and remediation processes.
- Experience with a variety of operating systems (e.g., Linux, Windows
Clearance Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance prior to starting this position.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
