MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT:
As a Logistics Analyst Sr Principal, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of USCENTCOM. You will play a crucial role in the operational readiness of the customer and contribute significantly to the mission.

• Performs a variety of duties relating to the occupational fields of engineering and logistics such as property accountability, material control, source identification, alternate suppliers, purchase and expedition, equipment and material flow, historical tracking and forecasting

• Apply technical knowledge to analyze, develop, and implement logistics plans and processes affecting the production, delivery, and inventory of customer products

• Support the accounting of all equipment and support material

• Research source identification and alternate source suppliers for replacement parts for equipment and obtains parts through government or commercial channels

• Provide activity and status reports to internal and external customers on logistics activities under span of control to include property, deployment of equipment, inventory levels, critical spares stock, and failure trends

• Contributes and may provide guidance to the completion of significant logistics projects

• Conducts and may provide guidance for the supplier audits, assessments and evaluations to ensure conformance to client's quality, cost and delivery performance standards

• Identifies complex logistics opportunities for process improvements, inventory reductions, and cost savings

• Writes and edits the logistics policy and procedures

• Experience working directly with customers providing logistics support functions

• Physical ability to lift or move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds as well as move with assistance equipment and boxes in excess of 100lbs

• Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
• Experience: 10+ years of related experience
• Security clearance level: Secret with TS/SCI eligibility
