Duties
-Coordinate with functional and program specialists (supply, production, inventory management, procurement, maintenance, transportations, training, and funding) to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of case requirements.
-Provide comprehensive logistics support in overseas locations, including coordinating FMS activities with functional specialists.
-Serve as the primary liaison between the U.S. government, American Embassy, foreign customer officers, and other DoD components/commands.
-Assess the impact of changes in technical requirements, documentation, training, schedules or new equipment.
-Monitor Due in for Maintenance aircraft parts and high visibility assets throughout the repair cycle.

In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management positions.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year, or will have one year within 120 days of closing of this announcement, at the next lower grade NH-02, or GS-11 equivalent in other pay system. Specialized experience is described as possessing an extensive understanding of logistics functions (supply, maintenance, procurement, budgeting, and quality assurance) and complies with administrative policies, regulations, and procedures regarding international relations.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of basic theories and principles of systems design, specifications development techniques; and an understanding of acquisition and maintenance requirements as well as organizational functions involved in logistical support.
2. Knowledge of theories and principles of Foreign Military Sales development and execution.
3. Knowledge of system life cycle concepts and design as they apply to system research, development, and acquisition.
4. Ability to plan, analyze, and coordinate a system or portion of a major system's acquisition and transfer into operational use, to include the identification and correlation of specific requirements for money, manpower, materiel, facilities, and services needed to support the program.
5. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
