RF Systems Test Engineer
The RF Systems Test Engineer will lead development of test hardware, software, and firmware from requirements definition through deployment.
Due to the nature of the work, an Active Secret clearance or higher is required or the ability to obtain one. (US Citizenship is required to obtain a US Government clearance)
Responsibilities and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
The RF system test engineer validates the functionality and performance of radio frequency (RF) devices, components, and systems by designing and executing test procedures
Develop test capabilities across multiple engineering disciplines including Digital, Analog, and RF
Responsible for design verification and manufacturing
Identify manufacturing test needs, test readiness, and optimizations to ensure smooth deployment
Developing automated and manual test sequences and procedures to cover all performance specifications of RF components and systems
Conducting hands-on testing of RF modules, antennas, and integrated circuits to measure parameters like power, frequency, and gain
Support manufacturing operations, including on-site troubleshooting and debugging, independently or with design engineering teams
Operating specialized equipment such as spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, signal generators, and power
Utilize testing tools such as TestStand, LabWindows, CVI, or LabVIEW.
