Job:Design and Analysis Engineer
Location:Berkeley, MO/ Hazelwood, MO/ Mascoutah, IL/ St. Louis City, MO
Pay range: $50-60/hr
Contract: 12+ months, possible extension

Introduction

Join a dynamic team working on innovative electronic systems design, analysis, and testing for current and emerging programs across the St. Louis region. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, including next-generation aircraft and autonomous systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
• Experience with electronic/electrical system designs or tests based on requirements
• Strong knowledge of data structures, system design, and architecture
• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship
• Experience in the Aerospace Industry

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
• Experience with design/build or test teams
• Experience creating, developing, and/or maintaining engineering processes

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and maintain electronic and electrical system requirements
• Analyze, translate, and implement requirements into system architecture, hardware, and software designs
• Test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements
• Resolve product integration issues and production anomalies
• Investigate emerging technologies for future product designs
• Monitor supplier performance for system integration and compliance
• Design hardware, software, and interface specifications
• Solve problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle
