Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an experienced Healthcare Construction Project Lead to oversee the planning, design, and execution of healthcare facility construction projects, with a focus on military treatment facilities. This role is 100% onsite in both Oahu, HI and Yokosuka, Japan (you will be required to be at ONE of the two locations, not both).

Key Responsibilities
- Lead Construction Projects: Manage all phases of healthcare facility construction, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and stakeholder expectations.
- Facility Planning & Documentation: Support long-term master planning and funding efforts through data analysis and performance reporting.
- Regulatory & Environmental Compliance: Review environmental assessments and validate designs for LEED, safety, and code compliance.
- Project Coordination: Facilitate meetings, manage RFIs, and ensure effective communication throughout design and construction.
- Quality Assurance & Testing: Monitor contractor performance, oversee system commissioning, and ensure standards are met prior to acceptance.
- Team Leadership: Manage multiple projects, mentor team members, and collaborate across agencies and disciplines.
- Reporting & Metrics: Maintain documentation, track performance metrics, and support decision-making through clear reporting.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field, plus 8 years of relevant experience in healthcare facility project management.
- Alternatively, 10+ years of hands-on experience in the same fields may substitute for a degree.
- Experience must include direct oversight of project management operations within healthcare environments.
- Active certification or fellowship from a recognized professional organization is required. Acceptable programs include:
- Project Management Institute (PMI)
- National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES)
- American Institute of Constructors (AIC)
- Construction Management Association of America (CMAA)
- Health Facilities Institute
- American Society for Health Care Engineering (ASHE)
Compensation
- Salary Range: $110,000 - $135,000 *based on experienced*
