The GPS Federal Health Specialist Executive serves as a senior advisor to multidisciplinary teams developing and delivering advanced IT solutions for federal health agencies on modern cloud platforms. This executive role guides strategy, solution design, and product delivery to enable transformation in health sector operations, aligning cutting-edge technology with complex clinical and scientific needs. You will be responsible for shaping clinical and scientific product direction, leading rationalization of health IT applications, and driving best practices for digital innovation across federal health programs.

Work You'll Do

Strategic Advisory & Leadership
- Serve as senior advisor to product delivery teams, influencing the design, development, and implementation of IT solutions supporting federal health missions.
- Guide contract execution and ensure digital solutions align with federal health modernization objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to translate clinical and scientific requirements into scalable, secure, and compliant technology solutions.
Product Delivery & Innovation
- Lead efforts to introduce cloud-based health IT products, leveraging expertise in clinical workflows, data interoperability, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure the delivery of advanced tools that enhance care delivery, accessibility, and operational efficiency for end users in the federal health space.
IT Application Rationalization
- Direct large-scale rationalization efforts, assessing and optimizing the federal health IT application portfolio to reduce redundancy, lower costs, and maximize value.
- Identify emerging technologies and advocate for innovative solutions addressing complex health challenges.
Federal Health Expertise
- Apply deep clinical and scientific knowledge to evaluate new IT products, ensuring they meet health outcomes, safety, and compliance standards.
- Provide thought leadership and mentorship to internal teams and client counterparts on advanced health informatics and federal health operations.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a clinical or scientific leadership role within federal health environments or similar agencies.
- Advanced proficiency in federal health systems, workflows, regulatory compliance, and clinical process optimization.
- IT Application Rationalization: Demonstrated mastery in IT portfolio management, digital product rationalization, and application lifecycle optimization for large-scale health systems.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
- Ability to travel 20-50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred:
- Deep understanding of health delivery models and cloud technology adoption within federal agencies.
- Proven track record of leadership with cross-functional teams in federal contract settings.
- Sophisticated communication, stakeholder engagement, and change management skills.
