We are building a new hybrid team in Broomfield focused on developing a next-generation tactical RF system. This centralized product team will design and build NEW, innovative software-defined radio (SDR) products to be deployed across multiple programs.
Location: Broomfield, CO
Work Schedule: Hybrid – 3 days in office per week
Clearance Required: Secret or higher
Experience Level: 5+ years
Key Responsibilities:
*Design, develop, and test software for tactical RF systems
*Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate software with FPGAs and understand system-level impacts
*Develop mission-critical applications using C++ and Python
*Deploy and operate applications on embedded Linux systems
*Contribute to DevSecOps pipelines and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, ContainerD)
*Create and maintain UML diagrams (Class, Sequence, Activity) using tools like Cameo or PlantUML
*Support simulation, testing, and data processing workflows
*Participate in hardware-in-the-loop and test-driven development processes
Required Skills:
*Proficiency in C/C++ and Python
*Experience with embedded Linux systems
Preferred Skills:
*Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ContainerD)
*Understanding of FPGA interaction and system-level design
*Experience with SDR development and tactical mission domains
*Knowledge of GPU-based algorithm acceleration
*Strong grasp of high-speed network architectures
*Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., gtest)
*Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile team environment
*Experience with MATLAB for simulation and data processing
*Familiarity with UML tools like Cameo or PlantUML
*Background in mission skill development and tactical systems
