Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is looking for a Senior Modeling & Simulations Engineer/Analyst that possesses a solid working knowledge and experience base in the development and production of multi-fidelity closed-loop simulation capabilities for weapon systems. The Candidate will work with a high bandwidth, multi-location team primarily developing a systems performance model of a weapon system. The candidate will be co-located with our customer on Eglin AFB, FL. The ideal candidate takes initiative, communicates effectively, and has experience with DoD weapons acquisition programs.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of a weapon system performance mode that will support Development and Operational testing as well as capability gap analysis.
- Develop representations of threat and operating environments relevant to the
weapon system.
- Provide mission level modeling execution using the Advanced Framework for
Simulation, Integration and Modeling (AFSIM).
- Develop, apply, and evaluate advanced technologies that highlight concept
solutions across multiple mission areas.
- Provide technical integration and implementation of other system simulation
tools (e.g. threat systems) to analyze mission level survivability of weapon
system.
- Deliver metrics-based products and executive-level presentations and assist in
producing simulation-driven visualizations.
- Support special studies as needed to include experimental efforts showing
concept feasibility, analysis, data integration, and software development.
- Define and implement data models, schemas, and interface specifications for
system-of-systems environments.
- Apply systems engineering principles and MBSE practices to develop, analyze,
and manage system models.
- Utilize CAMEO Systems Modeler and related toolsets to design, document, and
validate system architectures.
- Support traditional document-based processes and enable more effective
collaboration, traceability, and lifecycle management across engineering
disciplines.
- Document database architectures, processes, and configurations to support
lifecycle sustainment.
- Participate in design reviews, architecture working groups, and program
integration meetings.
- Provide excellent customer support and demonstrate an ability to communicate
with all levels of leadership and/or customers.
Qualifications:
- Experience with mission-level modeling and simulation tools i.e., AFSIM,
Suppressor, or EADSIM required
- Thorough knowledge of modeling and simulation methodologies required,
especially developing experimental designs, executing study plans and
constructing scenario elements.
- Experience working on classified programs.
- Experience with modern architecture frameworks and designs.
- Experience performing R&D, technology maturation and insertion, analysis,
testing, and systems engineering.
- Must be highly motivated, adept at exploring and learning about new
technologies and have a demonstrated record of successfully taking
ownership and responsibility for projects.
- Must have the ability to multi-task, respond to quick turn-around requests, and
produce quality products with minimal oversight.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or
related technical field required, and 15-18 years' related experience.
- MS preferred with 10+ years of relevant technical experience.
Clearance Requirements:
- Top Secret
- Must be eligible for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access.
