Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking a Staff Infrastructure Architect to support the team in Aurora, CO. As a part of the Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) team, the candidate will be responsible for architecture, design, and deployment activities for the program's hardware footprint.
Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to complete tasks with little direction and oversight. They will be an excellent communicator and problem solver who is able to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and customers. The candidate will demonstrate a commitment to ethics, integrity.
Responsibilities for the Infrastructure Architect includes providing and maintaining HW engineering documentation (i.e., Rack Els, Floor Plans, etc...), Provisioning Specification (P-Spec) management, and the overall build and delivery roadmap. Additional responsibilities include working with network engineers for firewall, DNS and IP management, submittal, and tracking. The architect will also participate with a multi-disciple team to mitigate and solve and program concerns. While supporting program and software management teams to manage software lifecycle issues and deployments with deliveries.

Primary Level Salary Range: $171,000.00 - $256,400.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and 12 years of relevant experience; 10 years of relevant experience with a Master's; 8 years of relevant experience with a PhD
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required at time of application and willingness to submit to a polygraph
- Ability to communicate across teams and mentor junior engineers
- Ability to drive the design of infrastructure for new products and capabilities
- Understanding of multiple Vendors and ability to recommend COTS and HW solutions
- Ability to perform trades on infrastructure components and system build up
- Ability to create and support Bill of Materials (BOMs)
- Able to get quotes and work with vendors and support the build team in procurement of IT equipment
- Provide support to systems engineering designs including managing requirements for infrastructure
