The Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Associate Tooling Manufacturing Technology Analyst to support the Production Engineering Group in San Antonio, TX.

We are seeking a Tooling Manufacturing Technology Analyst to support the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) program within our Special Tooling team.

In this role, you will participate in or manage projects using approved project management techniques, initiate changes to supporting processes and related documentation, and provide low-level training on procedures and processes related to engineering and production. You will assist in supporting and developing business unit processes and provide both technical and administrative support to ensure compliance with regulatory, production, and process requirements. Additionally, you will communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure that products and services meet compliance standards while working under general supervision.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Develop strategies.
  • Prepares and monitors plan of action and schedule to improve quality, reduce cost and maximize efficiency throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Performs technical and administrative activities to meet regulatory, production and process requirements.
  • Communicates with internal/external stakeholders including government agencies, other companies and customer organizations to ensure products and services meet requirements.
  • Review and develop document lifecycles, formulating strategies and processes to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Create and implement tooling processes for post-production, ensuring that designs effectively distinguish between production and post-production needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation alignment across multiple sites to meet both current and future operational requirements.
  • Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements to optimize workflow and documentation management.
  • Provide training and support to team members on new processes and tooling strategies to ensure successful implementation.
  • Ability to work on-site 5 days per week.
  • May be asked to support other programs or perform other duties as needed.


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 2+ years of experience in technical writing.
  • Experience in production and post-production environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on continuous improvement and root cause analysis.
  • Ability to work in a hands-on production environment, interfacing with other engineering disciplines.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and enforce standardized manufacturing processes, work instructions, and engineering procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (Interim or Final clearance required post-start) which requires U.S. Citizenship.


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination higher education and work experience or 7+ years' related work experience. (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.).
  • Experience in a maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) environment.
  • Familiarity with aircraft systems and maintenance procedures.
  • Understanding of composite and metal fabrication techniques.
  • Knowledge of aerospace industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., AS9100, FAA regulations, military specifications).
  • Experience with project management.
  • Experience with special tooling, jigs, fixtures, or ground support equipment in an aerospace or industrial setting.

Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Associate-Level Summary Pay Range: $68,000 - $92,000
