Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a results driven Computer Systems Analyst to support a long-term federal program focused on the development, operation, and modernization of enterprise infrastructure and tax filing systems. This fully remote role involves analyzing business problems and user requirements to implement and improve computer systems that support critical CI/CD capabilities and enterprise applications. Candidates must have the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

Key Responsibilities for Computer Systems Analyst Include:
- System Analysis: Analyze complex data processing problems to design and implement effective computer systems.
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with users to understand requirements, procedures, and challenges.
- System Improvement: Recommend and implement enhancements to existing systems for automation and efficiency.
- Capability Review: Evaluate system capabilities, workflows, and scheduling limitations to optimize performance.
- Software Evaluation: Assess and recommend commercially available software solutions.
- Documentation: Develop detailed documentation of system requirements, specifications, and procedures.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers, network administrators, and support staff to ensure seamless integration.
- Testing & Validation: Conduct system testing to ensure functionality and alignment with user needs.
Required Qualifications for Computer Systems Analyst Include:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Strong proficiency in system analysis and design
- Experience with databases, network infrastructure, and data processing
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively in a remote team environment
- Proficiency in:
- Programming & Frameworks: Java, J2EE, Spring
- Database Technologies: Oracle, SQL
- DevOps & CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, Git, Maven
- Agile Methodologies: Scrum, Kanban
- Infrastructure: Linux/Unix environments
- Cloud Platforms: AWS (preferred)
- Tools: JIRA, Confluence, Eclipse/IntelliJ, REST/SOAP APIs
- Must be able to pass an IRS Public Trust investigation
Compensation for the Computer Systems Analyst include:
- Salary Range: $100,000-120,000+ **depending on experience**
