Accounting Clerk II - Equipment Management (5190)

GVI, Inc, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking an Accounting Clerk II to join our team onsite at Naval Air Station Patuxent River in Lexington Park, MD.

Support requirements include, but are not limited to:

• Provide daily property management support, responding to inquiries, attending meetings, and ensuring cradle-to-grave asset accountability.
  
• Prepare and verify inventory count sheets, including logging and ensuring the accuracy of count data.
  
• Update and maintain fixed asset records, adding new assets and updating documentation in Navy ERP and spreadsheets.
  
• Assist in asset disposal processes, including coordination with custodians, warehouse support, and Defense Logistics Agency documentation.
  
• Maintain and update Navy ERP records, attaching required forms, modifying status codes, and tracking asset data changes.
  
• Support clean-up initiatives, organizing and updating system information for improved accuracy.
  
• Process custodian check-outs and maintain updates in tracking spreadsheets.
  

Position Requirements:

• US Citizen.
  
• Ability to pass background check and Investigation for Public Trust Clearance.
  
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  
• 1-3 years of Customer Service Experience.
  
• Experience using Navy ERP is a plus.
  
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (to include MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
  
  
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
  
• Must possess strong time management skills.
  
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
