Job Description
ECS is seeking a Technical Project Manager to work in our Arlington, VA office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon additional funding.
ECS is seeking several mid-career project managers to provide onsite support to a new DARPA initiative: Quantum Benchmarking Initiative (QBI)
. The project managers will serve as the main interface between a performing company and DARPA.

Required Skills
- 8+ years of experience including grad school or post doc
- Masters + 8 year or PhD +4 years of work experience and technologically conversant
- Ability to obtain and maintain a minimum of a DoD Secret clearance
- Ability to communicate effectively with excellent oral and written skills.
- Ability to learn new subjects and gain rapid insights into current and next-generation research topics, preferably with hands-on leadership of research programs at the performer level in multidisciplinary fields.
- Experience working a program through its full life cycles
- Experience with technical project management
- Familiarity with the DARPA technical, programmatic, and contractual environment is a plus.
- Self-starter who is willing to both take the lead and provide support in a team within a complex, fast-paced, cross-disciplinary work environment.
