Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) was created with the purpose of providing integrated enterprise IT support to Federal customers both CONUS and OCONUS. CARS employs Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with decades of experience working in the Federal marketplace.

Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) is seeking an Azure Cloud/Windows System Administrator who will manage, configure, and monitor cloud-based systems and services for the FCC. This role requires cloud administration and optimization tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Administer Azure cloud infrastructure.
  • Design and implement cloud solutions aligned with business requirements and best practices.
  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, including virtual networks, storage, compute resources, and PaaS services.
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud costs and resource utilization.
  • Automate cloud operations using PowerShell or other scripting tools and ARM cloud formation templates.
  • Create and deploy software packages using MECM and Intune.
  • Maintain the RSA Authentication Manager primary and replica servers as well as SecurID tokens.
  • Remediate vulnerabilities and ensure endpoints meet CIS Benchmark and cybersecurity standards.
  • Patch management, software deployment, encryption, and automation activities.
  • Implement and maintain Identity and Access Management.
  • Support system deployment, monitoring, and automation.
  • Ensure system availability, security compliance, and cost optimization.
  • Document configurations and maintain standard operating procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience; OR
  • Associate and 4+ years of relevant experience; OR
  • High School and 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Active AWS Solutions Architect or Microsoft Azure Administrator (Required)
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain Public Trust Clearance


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting
  • Demonstrated experience with large-scale IT service contracts, including oversight of cross-functional teams, service delivery, and performance monitoring
  • Extensive experience in managing and securing complex enterprise infrastructure with a deep focus on Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory, virtualization, and advanced privileged access management in Microsoft System Center.
  • Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure and connectivity issues
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals
  • Able to maintain VMware vCenter environments using ESXi hosts, distributed switches, and SAN datastores
  • Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it
