Targeting Analyst

Tyto Athene is searching for a Mid level Targeting Analyst to support a USSSPACECOM Program in Colorado Springs, CO. This position shall perform, document, and track the following J2 Targeting Analyst tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Provides recommendations for target prioritization to achieve commander objectives for plans and operations.
• Performs, documents, and tracks database nominations, creates and updates the database, and upload targeting materials (TMs) into databases to include relevant space / counter-space data into the Modernized Integrated Data Base (MIDB) in a format that can interface with targeting processes and tools to include the Joint Targeting Toolkit (JTT) on a weekly basis.
• Develops daily target nomination packets, create database records, and database target intelligence products. The Targeting Analyst will produce all-source analytic damage estimates and battle damage assessments and assist with combat assessment requirements.
• Conducts monthly collateral damage estimation, list management, and target strategy development and provide joint target intelligence support to deliberate and dynamic target engagements.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience and at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Successful completion of in-resident Joint Targeting course, the Geospatial Imagery / Targeting Analyst course, or the Air Operation Center Course.

Clearance:

• Must possess a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to obtain a polygraph.

Compensation:

• Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically between $110,000-$118,000. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
