We are looking for a Program Manager/Chief of Staff to join our division providing support to our Homeland Security client, based in Washington DC.

Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree (JD, MPA, MBA, or related) preferred.
• 8–12+ years of progressive experience in government, consulting, or mission-driven organizations, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership, strategy, or operations role.
• Demonstrated experience supporting C-suite executives or senior leaders in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
• Background in federal, state, or local government consulting strongly preferred; familiarity with the government contracting lifecycle a plus.

Leadership & Management Skills:
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional initiatives, streamline operations, and translate executive vision into actionable plans.
• Skilled at building, mentoring, and scaling high-performing teams.
• Adept at managing multiple priorities and stakeholders, often under tight deadlines.
• Strong judgment, discretion, and integrity in handling sensitive information.
Strategic & Analytical Competencies
• Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills; able to anticipate challenges and propose solutions proactively.
• Experience in business development strategy, including capture planning, proposal support, and client relationship management.
• Financial and operational acumen, with the ability to track metrics, budgets, and KPIs to drive performance.

Communication & Relationship Management:
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to brief executives, clients, and teams clearly and persuasively.
• Relationship-builder with the ability to partner effectively with internal staff, government clients, and external stakeholders.
• Comfortable operating at both the strategic and tactical levels—switching seamlessly between high-level planning and hands-on execution.
