Primary Responsibilities
The Senior DevOps Network Engineer will provide engineering expertise to develop, integrate, and sustain mission-critical systems. Responsibilities include:
- Designing, implementing, and securing virtual networks within AWS environments.
- Implementing VPC network connectivity and troubleshooting VPC-related issues.
- Supporting deployment of microservices via DevSecOps pipelines in Linux-based multi-tenant environments.
- Configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting Docker containers.
- Developing, updating, and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipeline code.
- Reviewing custom code and creating associated engineering documentation.
- Supporting developer deployments and testing activities.
- Performing security remediation based on scan results.
- Creating and maintaining DevOps documentation.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, or a related field and 8+ years of relevant experience (or Master's with 6+ years).
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- DoD 8570 compliant certification (Security+ or equivalent).
- Extensive experience with AWS services/technologies (CloudFormation, S3, ECS, EKS, Lambda).
- Strong background in AWS network engineering (VPC, routing, connectivity).
- Familiarity with AWS serverless architectures (API Gateway, autoscaling).
- Proficiency in DevSecOps methodologies and CI/CD pipeline management.
- Experience with Git/GitLab, Jira, and Confluence.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS certification (DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect).
- Linux certifications.
- Experience with ArcGIS or geospatial technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Docker containerization.
Target Salary: $110,000-$130,000
