Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Senior Systems Engineer (Network) to provide expert-level technical leadership and hands-on support for the planning, design, engineering, and administration of complex IT network systems. This role is critical to ensuring the performance, security, and compliance of both classified and unclassified networks in support of mission and enterprise operations.

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Senior Systems Engineer (Network) to provide expert-level technical leadership and hands-on support for the planning, design, engineering, and administration of complex IT network systems. This role is critical to ensuring the performance, security, and compliance of both classified and unclassified networks in support of mission and enterprise operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, engineer, install, configure, manage, and optimize IT networks and associated infrastructure.
- Perform Configuration Management (CfM), documentation, monitoring, and network administration for IT assets, capabilities, and services across enterprise environments.
- Provide support for infrastructure and platform management, IT Asset Management (ITAM), deployment management, service management, and capacity/performance management.
- Maintain and sustain network services across unclassified and classified environments, including Production, Test, and Development networks (e.g., uRDT&E, cRDT&E, SDREN, JWICS, SCI stand-alone networks, DREN, NREN, and commercial Internet connections).
- Ensure networks and IT services run efficiently, securely, and in compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory, and policy requirements while meeting service-level objectives.
- Deliver systems engineering, analysis, and design support for the development and implementation of enterprise systems and services.
- Provide computing plant engineering support, including requirements identification, change control, acquisition, logistics, and operations/maintenance.
- Evaluate functional and non-functional requirements, recommend technical solutions, and lead efforts to implement, manage, and maintain current and emerging technologies.
- Oversee documentation, patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management of networking solutions.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum of six (6) years of professional and leadership experience in network systems engineering, with emphasis on:

- LAN/WAN design and implementation in enterprise or corporate environments.
- Cisco and Juniper technologies.
- TCP/IP, VoIP, routers, switches, firewalls, fiber optics, and cable plant design.
- Proven experience with classified and unclassified environments and government/DoD networking standards.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Certification: DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification. (CASP CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP or GCED etc.)
Clearance Requirement
- Must hold an active Top Secret clearance.
