The Opportunity:
IntePros Federal is seeking an enthusiastic, client-focused Junior Java Developer with experience in support of federal government clients. The position is within the Department of Justice United States Trustee Program (https://www.justice.gov/ust) Application Services (DOJ USTP AppSvc) division. USTP is the DOJ component responsible for overseeing the administration of bankruptcy cases and private trustees.

Clearance:
• Required: Public Trust Clearance
• Preferred: DoJ Public Trust Clearance

Locations:
• REMOTE with potential light travel

Compensation:
$100,000 - $120,000

Responsibilities - Other duties include, but are not limited to:

• Support multiple Java applications for around 1,000 users
• Support remediation of security vulnerabilities for Java applications as needed
• Work on new development and re-engineering efforts, including making system design decisions
• Implement enhancements to existing systems in addition to coordinating with other developers working in parallel and performing QA/testing as needed
• Perform development activities in the Microsoft Azure GovCloud Environment
• Provide performance tuning on applications utilizing data from Azure Application Insights
• Protect all information and PII in systems and potentially collaborate with DOJ leadership to cleanse systems of any PII when required
• Provide support for testing all applications
• Facilitate progress with teams and stakeholders while aligned with an Agile/Kanban/Lean mindset

Required Experience:
1 – 3 years of experience required for the skills list

• Experience with Azure Services including Azure Batch, Key Vault, and Application Insights
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Git, Azure DevOps, Bamboo, and GitHub Actions
• Experience with Java Web Services/Spring Boot/Java EE
• Experience with Web Development/UI Frameworks/ HTML/JavaScript/Gradl
• Experience with Struts and Restful services
• Experience with UNIX/LINUX/PowerShell bash or shell scripting
• Experience in Agile development methodology and Kanban or Lean practices
• Familiarity with Selenium Framework for automated tests
• Ability to work well and collaborate within a team environment
