Job Title: Test & Evaluation Lab Technician
Location: Berkeley MO
Duration: 12+ months, possible extension
Pay: $30-35/hr
Job Description:
Supports activities to plan, conduct, and document tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes and technologies. Designs systems, materials, components, software, and methodologies to meet customer requirements. Participates in test design and performs routine procurement, fabrication, and assembly of components, test fixtures, and test systems. Supports the coordination of test requirements and assists in reviewing test methods and capabilities. Facilitates systems integration, fabrication, and modification; supports system pre-test setup, integration, checkout, and post-test tear-down. Conducts routine tests, analyzes data, and documents results. Troubleshoots and recommends resolution of basic laboratory and test-related problems. Works under general supervision.

Day to Day
- Installing and maintaining Flight Simulation equipment consisting of computers, monitors, audio systems, visual systems, crew stations, and rack equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve electronic hardware issues with minimum downtime
- Plans, conducts, and documents tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes and technologies
- Designs, fabricates, builds, and analyzes test systems, materials, components, software, and methodologies
- Coordinates test requirements, determines test methods and capabilities
- Conducts system test preparations by coordinating system integration, fabrication, modification, setup, checkout, and tear-down
- Troubleshoots and resolves laboratory and test-related problems
- Coordinates test laboratory activities and maintenance and repairs
- Coaches and trains others
- Works under general direction
Required Experience
- Experience with fabrication and/or assembly of mechanical or electrical systems utilizing production industry standards
- Experience working in an Engineering Lab Environment or comparable Military experience
- Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings and schematics
- Experience working with Flight Simulation equipment
Preferred Skills
- Minimum of 3 years experience working with Flight Simulation equipment
- Minimum of 3 years experience maintaining computer hardware
- Experience with Mil-Spec connector termination
- Experience with Mil-Spec Fiber Optic termination and splicing
- An Active US Secret Clearance
