iQuasar LLC is seeking a highly experienced Network Engineer – Data Center with a strong background in Cisco enterprise networking and data center technologies. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience designing, configuring, and managing complex enterprise and DoD network environments, with expertise across Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, ACI, and UCS solutions.

Position Title: Network Engineer – Data Center
Location: Norfolk, VA
Clearance: Top Secret
Position Type: Proposal
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, configure, install, and troubleshoot enterprise network devices (switches, routers, firewalls, and network appliances).
• Support and manage data center technologies, including network, compute, storage, automation, and security.
• Implement and maintain DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) for compliance.
• Monitor and respond to network security events using SIEM tools (Splunk, SolarWinds, Cisco ISE, Cisco DNA).
• Perform incident response, root cause analysis, and corrective actions on network-related issues.
• Collaborate with Windows, Unix, and other server administrators to address requirements and resolve data center challenges.
• Design and implement advanced routing (EIGRP, OSPF) and SDN solutions (SD-Access, SD-WAN).
• Support DoD projects, adhering to approved change management and cybersecurity standards.
Required Skills & Experience:
• 10+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco networking (Nexus 7k/9k, Catalyst switches, Cisco routers).
• Expertise in routing, switching, and SDN technologies.
• Strong knowledge of ACI, Fibre Channel, and Cisco UCS solutions.
• Experience with network security, firewall policy management, and compliance frameworks.
• Familiarity with DISA STIGs, DoD standards, and RMF processes.
• Proficiency with tools such as SolarWinds, Splunk, Cisco ISE, Cisco DNA Center.
Certifications & Clearance:
• Active Top Secret clearance or above.
• Security+ CE (or higher DoD 8570.01M certification).
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) with Enterprise Core or Data Center specialty.
