Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems, or related field
- Proficiency in object-oriented software development in C/C++ on Linux
- Experience with embedded real-time software, debugging, and testing
- Familiarity with RTOS environments such as VxWorks, Integrity, LynxOS, or Yocto Linux
- Understanding of full software development lifecycle
- Excellent communication skills
- Active DoD Secret security clearance (investigated within the last 5 years)
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with PowerPC, ARM, or RISC-V architectures
- Knowledge of design, integration, and testing in hardware-in-the-loop environments
- Interface development for weapon system integration
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field with relevant embedded software experience
- Prior work in defense or related industries preferred
Other Requirements:
- Telecommuting is not available; on-site work required
- Travel up to 10%
- U.S. citizenship required
