Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Mission Integration Engineer to support satellite ground system integration for commercial and government space missions. This is a full-time hybrid position with 2 days onsite and 3 days remote. This role is part of the Mission Architecture team and is ideal for candidates with a strong background in space systems engineering, satellite operations, and cloud-based infrastructure. The position is based in Arvada, CO (preferred), with flexibility for candidates located in Los Angeles, CA or Washington, DC. This role is An active TS/SCI clearance is required.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical integration of spacecraft, ground stations, and cloud infrastructure
- Assess mission requirements and ensure seamless deployment
- Serve as the technical point-of-contact during customer onboarding
- Coordinate technical reviews and readiness milestones
- Develop and maintain interface control documents (ICDs)
- Verify requirements and support cross-functional collaboration
- Conduct mission simulations, training, and early orbit support
- Create mission support plans and resolve anomalies
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in space systems engineering or mission integration
- Hands-on experience with spacecraft ground systems and satellite operations
- Proficiency in cloud-based ground systems, scripting (Python, Bash), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and AWS GovCloud
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Strong communication, multitasking, and customer engagement skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
