Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Systems sector is currently hiring a Principal Project Management professional to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in San Diego, California. This is an individual contributor role, a non-manager role with no direct reports.
This position is for the role of a Program Integrator. The selected candidate will be part of a diverse organization of project integrators within the Triton Program Integration Team. The candidate is responsible to oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects, and serve as the liaison between program management and integrated product teams. This individual contributor will work side by side with the Program Manager on program reporting, management, and dedicated tasking within the contract.
The Program Integrator oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Additionally, they review the status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports, assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives, and develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

Primary Level Salary Range: $91,200.00 - $136,800.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

Responsibilities for this position include (but are not limited to):
- Knowledge of project management and program integration and associated PM tools
- General understanding of integrated management framework and program management process and procedures
- Adherence to existing NG processes and demonstrates ability to understand processes and apply them
- Demonstrates ability to perform projects with moderate supervision
- Organized, engaged, and can work within a team
- Ability to grasp problems and assist with developing solutions - have the understanding to ask the right questions
- Understands prioritization and can plan work accordingly - work is reviewed for overall accuracy
- Contributes to the completion of program objectives and goals
- Ability to work with internal personnel as a team and take direction from senior team members. Assist with presentations and can make presentations to a small group
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of project management or related experience; or a Master's degree and 3 years of project management or related experience
- Proficiency in Excel
- Proven success managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with interfacing with all levels of employees and leadership
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active secret or top-secret clearance (last investigation completed within last 6 years)
- Experience in data analysis, property management, and/or inventory management
- Experience with SAP
- Understanding of the Integrated Management Framework (IMF)
- Knowledge of Project Management principles and experience utilizing them professionally
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or similar
- Strong written and verbal communication, including presentation skills to senior leadership
- Experience win the Aerospace and/or Defense industry
- Experience with SharePoint
