Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Manager, Product Support 2 to join our team of individuals within our Product Support organization supporting the F-35 JSF Program located in El Segundo, CA. This leadership role will be full-time in the office with nominal travel responsibilities, including potential for international travel.
This role will support and work directly with the F-35 Sustainment Program Office, and customer operations in a variety of locations, and include all aspects for overseeing, sustaining operations, and providing timely, knowledge-based Product Support direction. Position will have direct supervisory and/or management responsibilities for more than one integrated support element, including systems analysis, spares, provisioning, repairs, fleet modifications, technical data, and support equipment.

Primary Level Salary Range: $0.00 - $0.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

- Provide daily leadership, direction and development of the F-35 Sustainment and Supply Support Management team, ensuring members have sufficient training, statement of work and accountable for quality and timeliness of deliverables to customers.
- Act as the sustainment integration manager for the assigned F-35 Sustainment portfolio, including coordinating with program office, supply chain, spares, repairs and support equipment departments on proposal inputs, earned value performance/CAM responsibility, technical issues and demand execution.
- Lead department in the day-to-day support for the operation of the functional organization and resolving critical/urgent program/technical issues or schedule impacts associated with support equipment, spares and repairs.
- Drive integration of requirements, configuration, obsolescence / diminishing material resources, as well as other program needs to include management and mitigation of issues and risks.
- Assist with Long Range Strategic Plan (LRSP) and strategic growth initiatives needed to grow the sustainment business portfolio.
- Accountable for department retention, recruiting and hiring.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and at least 9 years of experience including a background in proposal, program integration, supply chain and/or logistics experience OR a Master's Degree and 7 years of experience including a background in proposal, program integration, supply chain and/or logistics experience.
- Knowledgeable on programs as well as sector business, processes and technical tools (SAP, MES, PDM, Catia and EVMS).
- Experience in the use of Microsoft business tools (Visio, Excel, Project, MS Teams)
- Experience as a team lead and/or project and interfacing experience with external customers.
- Experience with earned value processes and procedures.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in a business or technical field.
- Experience in the military aerospace development environment is preferred.
- F-35 program experience.
- Proficiency using program business tools; SAP, JDL, and Jira.
- Experience in formal risk and issues management.
- Advanced proposal experience.
- Aircraft maintenance experience.
- Executive writing and presentation skills.
- Experience in spares, repairs, technical data, and support equipment.
- Program and portfolio management experience.
- Prior Cost Account Management (CAM) experience.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management.
- Active, In scope DoD Secret clearance.
