Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Chemical Patrol in Texas City, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal at a prominent chemical and petrochemical location in Texas City, you will play a vital role in helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure environment. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols across assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help discourage unauthorized activities, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
• Monitor for unusual activities or conditions within the chemical or petrochemical facility and report findings according to established protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and personnel while upholding Allied Universal standards.
• Assist with access control measures, verifying credentials of individuals entering restricted areas as required by site policies.
• Document incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with company and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must possess a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration.
• A valid driver's license in the job state is required for driving positions only.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience working at limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or a rustic guard shack is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
