Kadiak, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Quality Manager to support Kadiak and our government customer in Anniston, AL. This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust.

The Quality Manager is responsible for implementing and maintaining a Medical Support Service (MSS) Quality Management System (QMS) that ensures compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves coordinating scheduled and unscheduled quality assessments, managing document control, and overseeing equipment maintenance and warranty documentation. The Quality Manager will also generate contract-specific plans and procedures, maintain licensure documentation, and ensure that newly hired employees receive the necessary training before commencing their specific job duties.

Key Responsibilities:
- Implement MSS Quality Management System:
- Ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of the MSS QMS.
- Coordinate Quality Assessments:
- Plan and execute quality audits and assessments to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Document Control Administration:
- Maintain the MSS document control system, including original documents, a master list of official documents and forms, and the distribution of official documents as necessary.
- Document Creation, Review, and Update:
- Development of documents to support MSS operations. Conduct regular reviews and updates of documents to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Plan, Work Instruction, and SOP Reviews:
- Regularly review and update plans, work instructions, and standard operational processes (SOP) to maintain compliance and applicability.
- Equipment Maintenance and Warranty Tracking:
- Track equipment maintenance and warranty activities, including reviewing documentation on equipment maintenance, inspections, and calibrations.
- Generate Contract-Specific Plans and Procedures:
- Develop and implement plans and procedures tailored to specific contract activities.
- Maintain Licensure Documentation:
- Ensure all licensure documentation is up-to-date and compliant with local and corporate requirements.
- Employee Training:
- Ensure that newly hired employees receive the necessary training before they commence their specific job duties.
- General Tasking:
- Duties May Expand Based on Project Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Healthcare Systems Engineering, Computer science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality management or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent organizational and document management skills.
- Ability to coordinate and conduct complex quality assessments.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing quality plans and procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in Quality Management (such as CQE or CQM)
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification
- Lead auditor training
- Proficiency with medical quality management
- Experience in the healthcare sector
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance and calibration procedures
- Microsoft Suite
Security Clearance requirement:
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust
Working Conditions:
- Office environment with occasional travel to other company locations.
- May require extended hours during peak periods.
