ABOUT THE TEAM
Anduril's Space team is dedicated to expanding our AI-powered capabilities into the final frontier, enhancing Space Domain Awareness, Space Control, and Command and Control for U.S. military and allied partners. We're developing fully integrated hardware and software systems, including Lattice for Space Missions and modular payloads, to address growing threats in space and ensure our Guardians maintain a decisive advantage in this contested war fighting domain.
ABOUT THE JOB
Anduril employs networking infrastructure to support global operations of customer sites. You'll be collaborating with other Network team members, Mission Assurance leads, and Product deployment teams which directly support the space business line and the execution of our programs. The Network and Infrastructure Engineer will help design, build, and maintain unclassified and classified networks solutions necessary to enable the program to meet contract deliverables.
This role is directly tied to an ongoing, funded program within Anduril's Space Business Line. The program requires building and fielding a resilient, software-defined, distributed mesh networking layer for critical Space Domain Awareness data. We work with mission partners and operators to deploy reliable and robust capabilities on operationally-relevant fielding timelines to meet complex challenges across the DOD and IC.

$138,000 - $207,000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. ABOUT THE JOB
Anduril employs networking infrastructure to support global operations of customer sites. The Network and Infrastructure Engineer will help design, build, and maintain unclassified and classified networks solutions necessary to enable the program to meet contract deliverables.
This role is directly tied to an ongoing, funded program within Anduril's Space Business Line. The program requires building and fielding a resilient, software-defined, distributed mesh networking layer for critical Space Domain Awareness data. We work with mission partners and operators to deploy reliable and robust capabilities on operationally-relevant fielding timelines to meet complex challenges across the DOD and IC.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own the networking solutions that are deployed to customers
- Integrate with legacy systems to unlock 21st-century capabilities
- Design and implement network solutions and/or improve the efficiency of current networks
- Install, configure, and support network equipment including routers, switches, firewalls to ensure highly available network operations
- Update and manage documentation of the network topology, infrastructure services, cabling diagrams, IP address allocations, IP routing/switching, etc.
- Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
- Work with the team to schedule network upgrades on operationally deployed infrastructure
- Create and analyze metrics that are leveraged for debugging and monitoring
- Triage issues, root cause failures, and coordinate next-steps
- Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases
- Occasional after-hours on-call/support responsibilities
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years experience designing, implementing, managing, and supporting IP network
- Extensive technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and Internet standards, including routers, switches (layer 2/3), firewalls, remote access, DNS, BGP, OSPF, VLAN, VRF, QoS, and VPN
- Experience with vendor agnostic network switching and routing
- Working knowledge of security frameworks NIST 800-53, DOD STIG, PCI-DSS
- Experience with network automation tools and processes.
- Excellent troubleshooting experience.
- Strong documentation and communication skills - both written and verbal
- Ability to travel for remote deployments when required
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong presentation and customer interface skills
- Experience with US Government classified networks and across classification boundaries
- Experience with COMSEC and HAIPE Complaint In-line type-1 network encryptors
- Experience with Cloud based solutions (Azure, AWS)
- Experience with Cisco networks, Palo Alto Firewalls, LibreNMS, Cisco Catalyst Center, Netbox IPAM
- Experience with Firewalls
- Networking certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, PCNSA, Network + etc.)
- Experience with Bash, Python, Nornir, Jinja, Ansible, Terraform, etc.
- An understanding of Linux Red Hat operating systems
