Government and Public Sector - Senior Information Security SME

Ernst & Young (EY) US Government and Public Sector (GPS) practice is a robust and emerging practice with tremendous potential for growth - and we are prepared to tap into that potential. Our US GPS practice combines an understanding of the public sector's diverse needs, focused on delivering improved public services, with private sector leading practices. Your key responsibilities
We'll look to you to interact directly with the customer, stakeholders, and subject matter resources to coordinate, validate and socialize in one or more areas of technology transformation. Your responsibilities will also include to manage, assess, and implement changes to the related deliverables. You can expect to help our clients with technology-enabled transformation to achieve their business objectives.

The Informational Security SME will support business operations planning, documentation and assessment of policies and the associated impacts. Ensure adherence to all relevant government regulations and company policies, including those related to classified information, sensitive materials, and other security standards. The purpose of this support is to ensure that DHS defines business process improvement objectives as part of the project and engages appropriate stakeholders in identifying existing processes, defining As-Is business states, defining To-Be business states, objectives and metrics by which success may be measured. This support requires personnel with previous experience and in-depth knowledge of the ICAM, HSPD-12, and DHS System Engineering Life Cycle (SELC), SAFe Agile implementation and demonstrated experience providing advisory and assistance support associated with enterprise level management, knowledge and experience to assist in guiding DHS through meeting program / organizational milestones.

- We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $97,300 to $178,300. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $116,700 to $202,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
- Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
- Under our flexible vacation policy, you'll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
