SUMMARY
Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) Test Evaluation and Certification II Services (TEC II) contract provides technical solutions for the DOD in support of Test and Evaluation (T&E) services and T&E enabling services. JITC's service requirements are categorized in the following areas: T&E Performance Requirements, T&E Capability Management Requirements, T&E Capability Requirements, Overarching Contract and Task Order (TO) Requirements. TEC Services are provided to DoD Combatant Commanders/Services/Agencies, federal and state agencies, coalition partners, and commercial entities to aid in the design, development, acquisition, acquisition, integration, deployment, operational use, and sustainment of new and enhanced IT/NSS capabilities.

Manages the daily activities of configuration and operation of the organization's IT systems and applications. Assists in the installation, maintenance, and general support of IT systems. Identifies and resolves problems associated with operating systems. Analyzes and resolves problems with server hardware/software and applications software. Detects, diagnoses, and reports related problems on both server, desktop, and mobile IT systems. Assists users with questions or issues related to assessing and using IT systems. Insalls new software releases and system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches, and resolves software related problems. performes system backup and recovery procedures. Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity. Performs system capacity analysis and planning, and optimizes system operation and resource utilization. Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure that systems support the organization's business requirements and meet the needs of end users. Defines system requirements based on user/client needs, cost, scalability, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Certifications
• Requires a Bachelor's degree; or an Associate's degree with at least 2 years of experience; at least 60 semester hours of formal education working towards an Associate's or Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of experience; or 6 years of experience. Additional certifications (other than those required for the position) in the are of specialization can be substituted for experience or education but varies by certification. The degree must be in a relevant technical curriculum and experience must be related to the job duties.

- Problem-Solving: The ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently is critical for maintaining system performance and minimizing downtime.
- Communication: Strong communication skills are essential for providing technical support to end-users and collaborating with other IT professionals.
- Adaptability: Given the rapidly evolving technology landscape, a Systems Administrator must be willing to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.

• Pursuing relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Cisco Certified Network Associate) can enhance a Systems Administrator's qualifications and demonstrate expertise.

WORKING CONDITIONS Environmental Conditions

• Contractor site with 0%-10% travel possible. Possible off-hours work to support testing and training. General
• office environment with frequent field duty. Work may require standing and walking for up to 50% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are frequently hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed

Strength Demands
