We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Web Developer - Full-Stack Drupal Developer for a Full-Time position.
Job Description
Develops claims intake interfaces and state-specific extensions within Drupal. Ensures compliance with USWDS design standards and Section 508 accessibility.
Key Responsibilities
Drupal Development
• Design and implement custom modules, themes, and APIs in Drupal.
• Optimize Drupal sites for performance, accessibility (508 compliance), and security.
• Integrate third-party services, RESTful APIs, and external systems.
• Collaborate with designers and UX teams to deliver responsive, mobile-first frontends.
DevOps & Infrastructure
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Automate deployments and manage cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GovCloud).
• Implement containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and security.
Collaboration & Leadership
• Mentor junior developers and enforce coding best practices.
• Partner with QA, PMs, and stakeholders to define requirements and deliverables.
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and architecture discussions.
Other
• Ensure all interfaces comply with USWDS and Section 508 standards.
• Collaborate with designers and testers to refine features.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• 5+ years of Drupal development experience (design, architecture, programming), including managing roles, authentication, and authorization in Drupal.
• Acquia Certified Drupal Developer (or equivalent) - Preffered
• Experience with REACT JSON-compliant forms and MySQL database development and management
• Experience with Acquia Cloud or Pantheon.
• Familiarity with Ansible, Terraform, or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Performance optimization for high-traffic Drupal sites.
• Experience with USWDS design standards.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic, Datadog).
• Knowledge of accessibility compliance.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to discuss projects and processes clearly and professionally.
