Description
The Marine Corps Enterprise Network (SMIT-MCEN) Contract is an eight-year, $7.7 billion program responsible for maintaining and modernizing the primary global network of the Navy and Marine Corps.
To support this critical effort, Leidos is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Quantico, VA.
SMIT-MCEN is the largest IT services program for the Navy and Marine Corps. Under the Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT) portion of the contract, the Leidos team delivers the core backbone of the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet, including cybersecurity services, network operations, service desk, and data transport. Ultimately, Leidos will help unify shore-based networks and data management across the Navy and Marine Corps, improving capability, enhancing service, and achieving significant cost savings by consolidating efforts under one enterprise network.
The Logistics Coordinator will provide comprehensive logistics, inventory, and data management support for the Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN) program. Responsibilities include analyzing large data sets, conducting quality-control audits, managing inventory inspections, and processing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs). The Logistics Coordinator will utilize Remedy and other enterprise tools to ensure accurate recordkeeping, compliance with established policies, and timely resolution of discrepancies.

The Logistics Coordinator will utilize Remedy and other enterprise tools to ensure accurate recordkeeping, compliance with established policies, and timely resolution of discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze large logistics and inventory data sets to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for process improvement.
- Develop reports and dashboards to support leadership decision-making.
- Utilize Remedy (and related systems) to track, manage, and resolve logistics and supply chain actions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in enterprise systems to ensure compliance with Marine Corps standards, writing Non-Conformance Reporting (NCRs) as needed.
- Conduct routine audits of logistics records, equipment inventories, and data entries for accuracy and compliance.
- Implement corrective actions to address discrepancies found during audits.
- Perform physical inspections of equipment and inventory to verify accountability, condition, and dispose as needed.
- Document findings and update systems accordingly.
- Investigate and document non-conformance issues in accordance with established procedures.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely corrective actions are completed.
Process Improvement
- Recommend and implement process enhancements to improve accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
- Assist in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for logistics and inventory management.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Secret clearance
- 7+ years of logistics, supply chain, or inventory management experience (preferably within a DoD or USMC environment).
- Proficiency with Remedy or similar enterprise ticketing/logistics management systems.
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret and present findings clearly.
- Knowledge of quality control, audit processes, and inventory management principles.
- Experience with Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and corrective action procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN) logistics procedures and policies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, advanced formulas) or other data analysis tools.
- Experience with DoD logistics systems (e.g., GCSS-MC, DPAS).
- Lean Six Sigma, supply chain, or quality assurance certification.
