Set up and operate tests to characterize thermal response of prototype systems (temperature, heat dissipation, heat flux)
Set up and operate tests to characterize fluid dynamics response of prototype systems (flow rate, pressure drop)
Test mechanical and materials properties (hardness, tensile testing, flexure testing, etc.)
Coordinate outside vendors for special tests or analyses
Summarize key findings in written documents and slides
Required Skills:
Experience applying the scientific method to plan, conduct, and record experiments
Experience with organizing, analyzing, and presenting scientific data to support conclusions and recommendations
Experience with CAD tools (e.g. Solidworks or Inventor)
