The HR Coordinator is a member of the Employee Services team and supports onboarding, a weekly on-site orientation program, provides general on-site department support, and provides customer service in response to HR inquiries. The HR Coordinator reports to the Assistant HR Manager for Employee Services.

The HR Coordinator is a member of the Employee Services team and supports onboarding, a weekly on-site orientation program, provides general on-site department support, and provides customer service in response to HR inquiries. The HR Coordinator reports to the Assistant HR Manager for Employee Services.
Responsibilities
- Supports the onboarding program, processing all new hires in the HRIS and ensures that new hires are completing all pre-hire requirements in advance of their first day; follows up and provides guidance as necessary. Schedules and completes the Form I-9 process with new hires and monitors E-Verify completion.
- Provides guidance to hiring managers and peer sponsors in preparation for onboarding their new hires and related activities.
- Coordinates and delivers key orientation activities including, the set up for all on-site logistics (room set-up, lunch, scheduling conference rooms); works with key points of contact across our functional areas to ensure that orientation content as well as any related forms are up-to-date and maintained on a regular basis; presents various portions of the orientation presentation; supports new employees throughout orientation day; and maintains and tracks orientation supplies.
- Maintains new employee data by ensuring that all new hire documents are stored on the employee record in the HRIS and assists with other employee document review and retention.
- Provides customer service in response to HR inquiries and general technical support requests for the HRIS. This requires that the HR coordinator is responsive through our employee services inbox, our ticketing system, and other systems as necessary. Stays up-to-date on the latest HR programs and initiatives in order to triage and provide responses to related inquiries. Forwards complex requests to appropriate specialty HR area.
- Provides general technical support and guidance to employees in the use of HR systems. This includes how to access and use systems and engage in electronic work processes.
- Assists with adhoc administrative tasks such as mailing packages, sorting and distributing mail, scheduling meetings, assisting our customers in picking up HR program items/supplies, and helps to keep our storage closet organized, among other administrative items as needed.
- This position will have the opportunity to support a variety of HR programs and initiatives across the HR organization
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Four or more years of related work experience with a BA/BS degree or higher (additional years of relevant experience may be substituted) in Human Resources Management, Business, Management, or related field of study.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
- Able to effectively manage time and collaborate across a diverse set of organizational priorities.
- Knowledge of developing briefs and reports for leadership team review.
- Additional qualifications as needed by organizational requirements.
