Information Technology Specialist

Sev1Tech is seeking a qualified Information Technology Specialist. The selected candidate serves as a technical expert in information technology areas relevant to the project. Candidate serves in the Information Technology Section in support of the larger program. Candidate must be capable of demonstrating experience in conducting analysis and developing solutions and in the application of information technology. Produces and reviews technical documentation reflecting detailed knowledge of specific technical area. Recommends measures to improve methods, performance, and quality of product or service, and suggests changes to increase efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen and possess an Active TS SCI level clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree in the fields of Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related scientific or technical discipline (8 years of direct relevant technical experience may be substituted for education).
• Must have 5 years of relevant experience and understanding in the field of information technology (IT).
• DoD 8570.01 IAT Lvl I & II Certifications, Additional MSCA, MCTS & CompTia Certificates as Required. CI Polygraph and PRIVAC as Required.
• Must be capable of demonstrating experience in conducting analysis and developing solutions and in the application of information technology.
• Produces and reviews technical documentation reflecting detailed knowledge of specific technical area.
• Recommends measures to improve methods, performance, and quality of product or service, and suggests changes to increase efficiency
• Must have experience in both hardware and software management, for example, ability to reimage laptops, load, configure and troubleshoot laptops/servers, VM management. Etc.
• Must be able to effectively work with Fort Hood Network Engineering Center
• Must be capable of training new IT personnel on IT management policies/procedures.
• Knowledge of Army IT management policies and procedures is required
• Must be familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Desired Qualifications

• Prior military experience is a plus
• Experience with help ticket management systems, such as Remedy/JIRA, etc.
• Required to regularly sit, walk, and/or stand throughout various times during the day.
• Use hands repetitively to handle, feel or operate standard office and maintenance power equipment.
