Description
Design, implement, and maintain network perimeter infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and other network devices Configure and troubleshoot network routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) Plan, configure, and maintain firewall infrastructure Monitor network performance and identify areas for improvement at the network edge Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolution related to perimeter devices Implement and maintain network security policies and procedures Manage and maintain PKI infrastructure Ensure network compliance with industry standards and regulations Collaborate with other IT teams to support business applications and services Document network configurations and procedures Other duties as assigned

Salary: $100,000 - $130,000

Requirements
Education/Training:
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant engineering or science discipline preferred
- Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP, etc. required
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise routing and switching
- 3+ years of experience in firewall planning, configuration, and maintenance
- Working experience with and understanding of the OSI model and IP protocol stack
- Experience working with network switching and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) as they pertain to F5, Cisco, Citrix, and Firepower
- Experience with F5 load balancer
- Experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls preferred
- Strong understanding of PKI infrastructure preferred
- Strong understanding of security, audit, and compliance principles preferred
- Strong understanding of Domain Name System (DNS) preferred
- Strong understanding of web applications and traffic patterns preferred
Security:
- Must be a US citizen
- Candidate must be in possession of a minimum DoD issued Secret Clearance
Physical Requirements:
- Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
- Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
- Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
- Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time
