Job Title: System Engineer - Lead
Location: Aberdeen, Maryland
Introduction:
Rivet Operations Company is hiring a Subject Matter Expert with at least 12 years of comprehensive experience in COMSEC, with deep expertise in cryptographic modernization and remote SNMP device management. Must be an expert at development and integration of cryptographic remote management capabilities, driving secure and efficient solutions for classified communications environments. Additionally, possesses more than 10 years of advanced experience in 3D design, utilizing SolidWorks and 3D printing technologies to support hardware prototyping and custom system components.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Lead cryptographic modernization initiatives to enhance and update secure communications capabilities.
* Subject Matter Expert (SME) for cryptographic remote management, developing and integrating remote SNMP device management solutions.
* Design, develop, and maintain secure systems and hardware components using advanced 3D design tools such as SolidWorks and 3D printing technologies.
* Provide technical guidance and expertise in the deployment, testing, and sustainment of COMSEC equipment and remote management systems.
* Develop detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and integration guides.
* Support troubleshooting, system analysis, and problem resolution related to cryptographic devices and network management.
* Ensure compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) security policies and standards throughout project lifecycles
Job Requirements:
* Minimum of 12 years of experience in COMSEC, specifically in cryptographic modernization and remote SNMP device management.
* Recognized Subject Matter Expert (SME) in cryptographic remote management capability development and integration.
* At least 10 years of experience in 3D design, utilizing SolidWorks and 3D printing technologies for hardware prototyping and custom system design
* Strong knowledge of cryptographic systems, remote device management protocols, and network security best practices.
* Proficient in technical documentation, systems integration, and troubleshooting within secure and classified environments.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across technical teams and government stakeholders.
* Ability to work independently and manage concurrent tasks.
* Excellent analytical and written communication skills.
Clearance: Must be a U.S. citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Physical Requirements:
* Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. May include lifting to 25 pounds as necessary.
