Volt is immediately hiring for “Systems Engineer (ENG05)” in “Woburn MA”.
You will do:
• You will be working as part of a team to define radar system requirements, design architectures and algorithms in support of those requirements and collaborate with software development teams to ensure effective implementation.
• Analyzing radar system performance data with respect to requirements
• Identifying performance deficiencies and proposing solutions
• Defining and prototyping new algorithms to enhance system performance
• Presenting plans, designs and system performance to peers, internal leadership, and external customers
• Providing subject matter expertise to agile software development teams to ensure proper implementation of requirements
• You will be completing the above responsibilities in one or more capability areas including:
• Electronic Protection, signal processing, applied mathematics
• Hypersonic threat defense
• Tracking, discrimination, search, and battle manager interfaces
• Radar calibration, diagnostics, deployed site support
• Modeling and simulation of tactical software
This is a 12 month with possible extension opportunity.
Clearance Required: Secret
Qualification Must have :
• Experience in system performance analysis, algorithm development, modeling & simulation, or support to fielded systems
Qualifications We Prefer:
• Proven ability to develop technical solutions to complex issues using strong analytic, technical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with system level requirements development, documentation and maintenance and/or requirements development and design of system level software architecture
• Experience with radar system concepts; detection, track and signal processing algorithms and their behaviors and performance
• Experience with the development and coding of system models, algorithms, test vectors and analysis tools in support of analyzing radar requirements and performance
• Experience working with MATLAB, C/C++, Java or DOORS
• Experience in using AI/ML and signal processing in database and algorithm design and enhancement
• Experience with developing, documenting, and maintaining processes, methods, and tools
• Experience with Battle Management command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (BMC4I) systems, Radar Systems or signal processing techniques
• Ability to interface with customers and lead technical solutions to complex user needs Previous military service
Additional Job Details:
Pay Rate:- $105/hr.-$115/hr.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
