Active Directory Exchange Specialist

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Active Directory Exchange Specialist to support a long-term federal cybersecurity program focused on delivering secure, scalable, and mission-critical IT services across enterprise environments. This position will be onsite in Quantico, VA for shift work (Sun - Wed 6:00 am - 4:00 pm).

Responsibilities of the Active Directory Exchange Specialist include:

Directory & Messaging Operations

• Administer, configure, and troubleshoot Active Directory, Exchange, and Windows Server environments
• Manage account provisioning, directory services, and messaging infrastructure
• Support virtualization, event monitoring, and server operations

Tier II Support & Escalation

• Perform Tier II triage and escalation of Remedy tickets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and maintain service continuity

Security & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with security and operational standards
• Maintain documentation and support audits as needed

Qualifications for the Active Directory Exchange Specialist include:

• 5+ years of IT experience (including military, academic, or freelance work)
• Top Secret Clearance Required
• Proven expertise in Active Directory, Exchange, and Windows Server Administration
• Strong troubleshooting and escalation skills (Tier II level)
• Experience with virtualization and event monitoring tools
• Active Top Secret Clearance
• IAT Level III Certification (must hold one of the following):
• CASP+ CE
• CISSP (or Associate)
• CISA
• GCED
• GCIH
• CCNP Security
• CCSP

Compensation for the Active Directory Exchange Specialist includes:

Salary: $90,000 - $115,000
