Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Help Desk Specialist to join DOD program supporting the Navy located in Kansas City, MO. The Help Desk Specialist will provide end-user desktop support for an enterprise network. This will start out as a night shift role, but after a few months the shifts will be open based on the candidates preference.

Responsibilities for the Help Desk Specialist include:
- Provide hands-on technical support for a range of devices including laptops, desktops, printers, mobile phones, and network-connected equipment
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to connectivity, operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, and video conferencing platforms
- Collaborate directly with end users and stakeholders to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software problems
- Perform daily tasks aligned with Enterprise Service Desk operations, ensuring consistent and reliable IT service delivery
- Achieve service benchmarks by managing support tickets, executing automated scripts, and responding to user inquiries via phone and other channels
Required Qualifications for the Help Desk Specialist include:
- 1+ year of hands-on experience in IT support or related technical roles
- Active Secret Clearance
- IAT Level II certification such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+
- Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware/software issues and navigate ticketing systems in an enterprise environment
Compensation for the Help Desk Specialist include:
- Salary: $50,000-55,000 **depending on experience**
