Description:Join our team as a Hardware Systems Engineer to work on a team supporting the US Navy's Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) D5 Avionics Engineering.

Location: This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility one of the Coolest places to work: King of Prussia PA , and be expected to work in the office.

What does this role look like?

Lockheed Martin Space is looking for a Systems Engineer to support hardware lifecycle.

Key activities you will accomplish in this role:

• Provide engineering assessment of hardware and test anomalies/failures for impacts on reliability, accuracy, safety, and/or service life in the population

• Develop technical reports for based on test data that summarize critical information to internal senior management, executives, and external customers

• Perform failure investigations and root cause analyses
Regularly communicate critical findings and status external customers

• Author requirements documents and/or test plans that maximize the amount of applicable test data for population assessments, while balancing cost and schedule constraints

• Regularly act as liaison between internal technical SMEs and funding customers

To be effective in this role, you will need:

• 3+ years of professional experience.
• Must have an active DoD Top Secret clearance, thus you are a US Citizen.

Basic Qualifications:
• Basic knowledge of Systems Engineering

• Experience with documentation, test planning, or failure investigations

• Active DOD Top Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
• Systems Engineering experience including design review support and documentation
• Experience with hardware and manufacturing
• Ability to travel up to 6 weeks per year
• Knowledge of program lifecycle
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
