Description:
You will be the Manufacturing Engineer (Electronics Fabrication) for the Missiles & Fire Control team. Our team is responsible for developing and supporting manufacturing processes for electronic components.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Engineer (Electronics Fabrication), you will be responsible for creating and maintaining work instructions, developing rework/repair instructions, and initiating process improvements to support the electrical shop operation. You will also collaborate with shop floor personnel, shop management, and program management to drive process excellence.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline from an accredited college with 2 years of relevant professional experience. Considered experienced, but still a learner.
- Effective Communication Skills: Written, Oral, Listening,
Technical Writing.
- Able to interpret drawings and specifications to develop and translate into work instructions.
- Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
- Process Improvement experience
- Experience creating manufacturing plans and work instructions
- This facility requires special access; therefore, you must be a US Citizen.
- This position requires an Interim Secret Clearance in order to start so a candidate must have an existing clearance or ability to obtain a security clearance.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
