- Providing operations support during I/O Signals training events
- Serving as the primary technical point of contact for I/O Signals operations
- Providing training to other contract and military personnel on new systems to support I/O Signals training requirements
- Participating in planning and providing recommendations for support of I/O Signals training
- Evaluating feasibility of proposed I/O Signals training events
- Identifying requirements for interoperability between range systems and participating simulators or joint units' equipment
- Installing and providing operations and maintenance support for new IO systems
- Ensuring that planned changes to IO Signals configuration and/or policies are coordinated with Cherry Point classified network administrators and Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) to determine if any engineering or other changes are required
- Supporting approved NSWC task directives to enhance or sustain IO Signals training capabilities
- Ensuring all configuration changes pursuant to the duties of this position are documented and approved in accordance with established processes
- Performing all other position related duties as assigned or requested and take direction from Senior IO Technicians
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Supervisor and Contract Site Manager (CSM)
- Completing all assigned training and ensuring its entry into their training jacket, to include but not limited to, government assigned training in Total Workforce Management System (TWMS) and all other non-recurring training as assigned
- Documenting work performed with particular attention to detail
- Performing work, responsible for adhering to environmental, safety, and health standards related to the activity, including the wearing of all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE); must cease work and notify lead, supervisor, or manager of all unsafe conditions

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electronics engineering technology, electrical engineering, computer science or other Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) degree
- Military training in the fields mentioned above or vocational school with formal training in the field of electronic equipment maintenance and repair may be considered as substitution of degree requirements
- At least six years of technical experience in communications systems, Electronic Command and Control Systems, Radar Systems or related electronics field with basic knowledge of High Frequency (HF) Automatic Link Establishment (ALE), Very High Frequency (VHF) & Ultra High Frequency (UHF) Signal Transmission and Data Processing, Global System for Mobile (GSM) Communications, and FURY range systems
- Ability to speak, read and write English
- Four years of technical experience as an Information Operations Signals technician
- Must possess a valid state driver's license
- Must maintain current CPR/First Aid certification
- Must Maintain Cyber Security Workforce credentialing and requisite certifications such as CompTIA A+/Net+/Sec+
- Hold a passport for international travel without restriction
- Hold or have the ability to obtain valid Class A Commercial Driver's License without restriction
- Must be a US Citizen
- Requires a Secret clearance
