As the Business System Analyst, this individual will gather and analyze business needs, then translates them into functional Salesforce solutions. In this role, the Business System Analyst will coordinate with leadership, department heads and IT support personnel to streamline processes and increase productivity among employees.

Responsibilities:
  • Develops, implements processes and procedures, ensuring quality control through quality assessments, as well as assessing organizational business solutions and operations, while establishing a culture of continuous improvement
  • Facilitates requirement sessions, document processes and user stories, collaborate with stakeholders and development teams, and provide user support and training to ensure the platform meets business goals
  • Develops, analyze reports, research, establishes processes and reviews operating procedures, strategize ideas to improve business operations and meet with leadership and other stakeholders to provide suggestions based on their analysis
  • Facilitates meetings and workshops to understand business challenges, goals, and processes
  • Develops standard operating procedures and quality assessment and control processes
  • Gathers and analyze data for potential business and operational process development
  • Identifies specific opportunities to improve processes and procedures
  • Influences stakeholders to support operational projects
  • Assists with project management for selected projects
  • Coordinates with cross-departmental and division teams to produce better project outcomes
  • Tests business and operational processes and recommend improvements
  • Converts roadmap features into smaller user stories that are easier to complete
  • Develops reports of actionable information for organizational decision-makers
  • Writes clear and well-structured projects and process requirements/documents
  • Creates reports, dashboards, and visualizations to understand operational performance
  • Analyzes processes issues and bottlenecks to make improvements
  • Communicates and validates requirements with relevant stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain reporting tools
  • Performs data discovery, analysis, and modeling
  • Collaborates with leadership and project managers on roadmap planning and prioritization
  • Performs all other tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications/Education and Experience:
  • BA/BS Degree (degree in Computer Science/Management preferred) and 10 years of related skills and experience are required
  • Must have and maintain Secret Clearance with eligibility for Top-secret
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce features, best practices, and common clouds (Sales, Service, Experience)
  • Proficiency in process mapping, gap analysis, requirements gathering, and data analysis. Superior presentation and negotiation skills
  • Strong management and organizational skills
  • Must have knowledge of how to Analyze new and complex business-related problems and create innovative solutions that normally involve the schedule, technology, methodology, tools, solution components, and financial management of the project

Preferred Qualifications/Education and Experience.
  • Five (5) years management and supervision in a military environment
  • Recruiting or Cadet Command background is desired
