DirectViz Solutions (DVS) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Senior Infrastructure Design Engineer to support critical IT infrastructure initiatives in Dahlgren, VA.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Network Support:

• Plan, design, engineer, install, manage, and improve IT infrastructure and capabilities.
• Perform configuration management (CfM), documentation, maintenance, and monitoring of IT assets and services.
• Provide network administration across unclassified and classified environments, including Production, Test, and Development (e.g., uRDT&E, cRDT&E, SDREN, JWICS, TS Collateral, SCI stand-alone networks, DREN, NREN, and commercial internet connections).

Service & Performance Management:

• Manage infrastructure and platform services, IT Asset Management (ITAM), deployment management, capacity planning, and performance monitoring.
• Ensure all systems and services run efficiently, securely, and in compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and policy requirements.
• Meet or exceed established service-level requirements.

Systems Engineering & Design:

• Provide engineering analysis and design support for developing and implementing IT systems and services.
• Support computing plant engineering, including requirements identification, change control, acquisition and logistics, and operations and maintenance.
• Identify and report functional and non-functional requirements; recommend, design, and sustain technologies and capabilities to meet evolving IT needs.

Required Qualifications

Experience:

• Six (6) years of professional work and leadership experience in network areas such as landlines, cellphones, voice, video, data networks, and wireless communications.
• Proficiency with Visio and AutoCAD, plus experience in advanced network engineering tasks.
• Background in systems studies, including planning, design, development, and modification of existing or planned voice and data communications networks and subsystems.

Certification:

• Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI) - Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD).

Clearance: Active Secret Clearance.
