Low code Application Platform Pega Administrator
Summary
Low code Application Platform (LCAP) is becoming a key focus for businesses across the world, with many federal agencies adopting LCAP technology in order to modernize and streamline their processes.
· Do you spend most of the day working on projects involving your LCAP SME expertise, manage scalable solutions supporting the LCAP competency with Development best practices and platform support, Technology Adoption of Pega and maintaining the LCAP Infrastructure?
· Do you automatically resolve any current issues you find while ensuring no new ones occur for the user base?
· Do you want to play a critical role on rapid application delivery and collaborating with IT professionals, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle managing the platform?
Responsibilities:
· The Low-Code Platform Administrator is responsible for the ongoing support of enterprise applications built on low-code platforms, specifically Pega.
· The ideal candidate will have expertise in Pega platform, with a strong understanding of how to build, deploy, and manage business process management (BPM) solutions.
· Analyze business processes to identify automation opportunities and design robust, scalable, and efficient LCAP solutions.
· Manage the platform environment, including user and group management, access controls, and security settings.
· Handle application deployments across different environments (development, testing, production), working closely with DevOps teams.
· Monitor system performance, perform regular health checks, and identify bottlenecks to ensure smooth operation.
· Apply platform patches, updates, and upgrades in a timely and coordinated manner.
· Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to infrastructure, networking, and application functionality.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for application design, configurations, and administrative procedures.
· Provide ongoing support and mentorship to less experienced developers or citizen developers
· Build and maintain integrations with external systems and databases using APIs, web services, and platform-specific connectors.
· Create and maintain data models, including complex relationships and security rules within the low-code environment.
· Utilize platform-specific testing tools and apply debugging procedures to resolve issues.
· Ensure adherence to design patterns and development best practices for optimal performance, scalability, and security
· Participate in all security meetings and provide valuable insight as they have both built these programs for other organizations and lean on their lessons learned
· Apply knowledge of AI and cognitive services to enhance automation solutions (e.g., OCR, intelligent document processing).
· Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of LCAP solutions to ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance.
· Monitor and maintain solution post-implementation, resolving any potential issues to ensure smooth business operations.
· Produce process documentation in order to identify mistakes and successes enabling process refinement going forward.
Required Qualifications
· Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, math, or science and 10-15 years of relevant experience
· Proficiency in designing and developing applications using Pega Platform (PegaRULES Process Commander).
· Expertise in Pega's core features, such as Case Management, Decision Management, and BPM.
· Experience with Pega integrations, including APIs and web services.
· Certification (preferred): Pega Certified System Architect (PCSA) or Certified Senior System Architect (PCSSA).
· Problem-solving skills and Attention to detail
· Excellent written and verbal communication
· The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Suitability/Public Trust Background Clearance
· Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and experience with writing SQL queries.
· Familiarity with standard web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
· Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
