Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position $150,000-$160,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. About the Role:

Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To:

The Computer & Information Management SME will align tasking and priorities to the RMF schedule, established by the Information System Security Manager (ISSM). Authority over all authorizations and the HPCMP security posture resides with the HPCMP Authorizing Official (AO). Provide similar support to the above secret enclaves and the respective AO.
Provide High-Performance Computing (HPC) system support & networking for HPC systems in the Above Secret realm, to include but not limited to:
OS Updates Bi-Monthly
Anti-Virus Updates Weekly
Patching monthly and as needed
Perform monthly security scans and prepare POAMs based on results
Obtain new plugins and load to security center weekly
Ensure ACAS Security scans run automatically, prepare monthly POAMs based
on results
Engage in meetings with users to address user issues as needed
Perform verification of documentation and preparation system certification
monthly
Work closely with government networking staff for advisement as needed
Develop SOP for adding users so we get consistency on systems (Initial
Creation/then review Quarterly)
Verify controls - RMF Continuous Monitoring
Maintenance Log - add all changes/frequency related checks at frequency
required
Configure and perform annual review on Storage capacity for audits
Perform Hardware updates as needed, and to be reviewed annually
Software updates as needed, and to be reviewed annually
Ports Protocol Services Management as needed/reviewed annually
Perform all systems administration on ancillary systems SHARC HPCs (log
server/scan server)
Follow Software evaluation process as directed by ISSM for software that needs
approval to add to the systems.
Provide the ISSM with support in filling out the software package checklist, build
the VM and perform a scan load scan once the software approval is received.
Provide IT systems administration, functional systems administration (FSA) and hardware systems administration services at the client computer level.
Hardware support includes tech refresh planning, execution, ordering, installation, inventory management, and deposal at end of life.
Provide Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) Custodian services.
FSA support includes providing high level support for all the functional and business systems used by AFRL to meet the mission. This includes but not limited to, the Comprehensive Cost and Requirements System (CCaRs), Commanders' Resource Integration System (CRIS), General Accounting and Finance System II (G2), Automated Business Services System (ABSS), Job Order Cost Accounting System (JOCAS), Electronic Data Administration (EDA), DTS, Defense Civilian Personnel System (DCPS) and local databases.
Develop a thorough understanding of the staffs’ various mission roles and be completely knowledgeable of hardware and software capabilities and limitations
supporting that functional system, the Federal Desktop Core Configuration (also known as the "Standard Desktop Configuration") and the Air Force Enterprise Network (AFEN).
Ensure all desktop and laptop computers, Apple iPhone devices (or other types of smart phone device) and peripherals including printers used by the AFRL/RCM and RCO staff are kept at an available rate of no less than 90%
Provide FSA services to correct any operational errors on the client computers related to the client computer interface or Internet browser with the functional software, and network software, protocols, or access
Provide FSA support for Microsoft Project in a stand-alone client application mode.
Periodically review the organization's needs for computer resources and update the technical refreshment plan.
Provide Information System Security Officer (ISSO) services in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)
Provide Information System Security Manager (ISSM) services for the Secret Processing Facility (SPF)
Monitor staffs’ completion of required information technology security awareness
training or similar seminars and report results to the AFRL/RC security
manager
Report equipment failures involving assigned functional systems, information technology, wireless, telephone, facsimile, building badge system, audio-visual, conference room or other facility equipment to the appropriate repair agency as well as the AFRL/RCM and RCO staff
Track all IT hardware for warranty coverage and notify the Government of any actions required to extend such coverage or otherwise arrange for preventive or remedial service.
Provide desk-side support to users of the DTS and Defense Civilian Personnel System (DCPS) including contacting and coordinating with those systems’ help desks or program
management offices.
Provide SIPRNet Administrator services and, on a mission-required occasional basis
Provide Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) Custodian services as required.
Manage and track all software other than that implemented on the DOD High Performance Computing Modernization Program-controlled hardware and notify the
Government of any required purchase, maintenance, or disposal actions
Respond to and provide periodic scheduled maintenance and emergency remedial or mitigation services during non-duty hours.
Develop procedures in coordination with the government security representatives to ensure that all security and cybersecurity requirements are met and transitions between security levels are accomplished effectively and correctly.
The contractor shall support the AFRL/RC management team during Normal
Operations (in-garrison operations) as well as during the execution of a
Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) to ensure RC personnel have the
communications equipment and connectivity necessary to establish and maintain
operations.
Perform other duties, as assigned.
Experience Requirements:

10 years of applicable experience
Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

Certificate, License, and Registration Requirements:
ComTIA Security+
IAM Level II Certification

Other Required Skills & Abilities:

Working knowledge of U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication (SP) 800 series, Risk Management Framework (RMF) (formerly DIACAP), and Joint Special Access Program (SAP) Implementation Guide (JSIG)
Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Sawdey Solution Services to staff it only with U.S. Citizens.
