Job Description

The Strategic Military Integration & Partnerships Officer plays a vital role in advancing NATO's partnership and transformation objectives through the integration of military planning, policy analysis, and capability development. This position supports the coordination and execution of the Individual Tailored Partnership Programme (ITPP) and Planning and Review Process (PARP), while advising senior stakeholders and contributing to strategic transformation efforts across the NATO enterprise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Influence
    • Advise and influence internal stakeholders on the scope and strategic value of partnerships
    • Identify and promote opportunities for collaboration and integration across NATO and Partner initiatives
  • ITPP & PARP Coordination
    • Serve as the primary task coordinator under the direction of the Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR) for ITPP and PARP military integration efforts
    • Support all steps of the ITPP lifecycle, contributing subject matter expertise to products, documentation, and bilateral/multilateral engagements
  • Strategic Analysis & Planning
    • Interpret, analyze, and report on warfare development activities and their relevance to ITPPs
    • Develop a multi-cycle ITPP approach to influence medium-term transformation through strategic planning
    • Analyze NATO policy and military-strategic developments to inform ITPP and PARP evolution
  • Policy Development & Briefing
    • Contribute to the development of policies, directives, and process improvements related to Partnerships
    • Prepare and deliver briefings to senior officers and decision-makers on partnership-related initiatives
  • Operational Support
    • Support the Head of Partnerships IPT/Branch in all assigned activities.
    • Travel to meetings and conferences within and outside NATO boundaries
    • Perform additional tasks as required


Required Qualifications
  • Strong background in defense planning, military integration, or international security cooperation
  • Experience with NATO processes, including NDPP, ITPP, and PARP
  • Proven ability to analyze strategic policy and translate it into actionable planning frameworks
  • Excellent communication and briefing skills, especially with senior leadership


Required Education/Clearance
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Master's degree or higher in international relations, international security, international development, military studies, foreign policy, public affairs, political science, or a related discipline; or graduation from a NATO or national military staff college (OF-3 level or higher)

*Priority given to applicants with both post-graduate degree and military staff college

* Position contingent on contract Award

* International travel likely required (up to 30 days)
