We are seeking a highly qualified and mission-driven professional to serve as the Partner Training & Capability Development Liaison Officer. The successful candidate will act as a strategic bridge between NATO Education and Training Facilities (NETFs) and Partner Education and Training Facilities (ETFs), supporting institutional accreditation, training coordination, and strategic alignment with NATO's defense and security objectives. - Serve as the liaison officer between NETFs and Partner ETFs, facilitating collaboration and mutual support
- Support course certification and institutional accreditation processes for Partner ETFs
- Assist in managing Partner training requirements and programming
- Education, Training, Exercise, and Evaluation activities using the Partnership Cooperation Menu and ePRIME
- Conduct front-end analysis of existing training solutions and assess opportunities with NATO Centres of Excellence (COEs) and Partnership Training and Education Centres (PTECs) to support Military Contribution to Capacity Building (MCCB).
- Advise Partner nations on training strategies and serve as ACT's Point of Contact for PCM, ePRIME, and eITEP
- Support in MCCB-related course assessments and the Seat Allocation Process
- Act as the Integrated Security Discipline Point of Contact, ensuring coherence across training and capability development efforts
- Additional tasks as required
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in foreign/international security, international cooperation, defense, or military affairs
- Experience within the NATO Enterprise (preferred), or other International Organizations (IO) in defense/security roles, or within national missions/delegations/embassies to IOs
- Demonstrated working knowledge of NATO Partnerships, security sector reform, defense and security capacity building, defense planning, or military capability development including operations research
- Extensive experience in military or international Education, Training, Exercise, and Evaluation activities
- Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and cultures
- Current passport
Required Education/Clearance
- Active Secret Clearance
- Master's degree or higher in international relations, international security, international development, military studies, foreign policy, public affairs, political science, or a related discipline; or graduation from a NATO or national military staff college (OF-3 level or higher)
